How do you handle it when a man wants out?
I received this wonderful email, which can give you some tips on what to do to get a relationship back where you want it to be:
I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. Last weekend my boyfriend said that he wanted to "step back" from our year long relationship. I was devastated and initially did not respond well (crying, emotions, telling him why he should stay etc). Anyway, he did leave.
Advice from my good friends at Love Learnings: Signs Your Spouse Wants a Divorce
That night, I ordered your program about the Mistakes that Women Make and stayed up all night reading it. I am embarrassed to say, that I made just about everyone of those mistakes listed. I was horrified! Your information really did help me in terms of understanding more about how men think and what my next steps should be because I love this man and wanted to marry him.
To make a long story short, he showed up unexpectedly at my door the next morning to make sure I was okay. I responded differently this time, just like you recommended in the book and told him that I agreed with him, that we needed to "step back." I apologized one time, without tears, regarding the issues he had with me, acted cheerful, upbeat and told him that I was on my way out to go to church. He asked to go with me.....we talked for several hours that afternoon after church, and we are now back together.
If he wouldn't see them, I would post those "mistakes" on my bathroom mirror at home as they are so valuable.
I truly want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do. You have saved my relationship and I am forever grateful. I also know so much more now about how men think and act and plan on continuing to implement what I have learned from you.
Hugs to you,
